A Fallout Equestria Christmas! (Collab) by TheOmegaRidley A Fallout Equestria Christmas! (Collab) by TheOmegaRidley
~ Collab with Piecee01 : :iconpiecee01: ~

I highly suggest downloading this, so you can appreciate the picture in all of its glory !
Hey guys, this is our gift to all of you, a collab between me and good ol' Piecee ! :D Starring all the main protagonists of Fallout: Equestria, Fallout: Equestria - Project Horizons, Fallout : Equestria - Heroes, Fallout: Equestria : Pink Eyes and Fallout: Equestria - Murky Number Seven !
We started this around ten days ago, with me taking a full five days to get the sketch/lineart done in time (I went back to my old rough style for this one, btw), then sending it over to Piecee, expecting him to take another five days for the color. He finished it in under two days :D

Merry Christmas/Hearts Warming Eve ! :meow:

Also, new meme : image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2…

Haha, thank you. Our idea was to bring all of our favorite FoE characters together, just once, to share a nice moment and have fun. Piecee did an awesome job colouring it, you should go and give him some love as well. :D

How'd you do the collab exactly?

A month or so ago, I commented on one of Piecee's pics, suggesting that we should work together on something. Two weeks later, he reminded me of it, and we started discussing the collab through notes.

I was the one suggesting the christmas themed picture, Piecee approved, then we quickly discussed who was going to draw and who was going to color it. Once we had our roles, I started sketching on my side, giving myself five days to complete it, so he could take the same amount of time colouring the lineart. I sent him status updates every time I felt it was noteworthy.

When the lineart was finished, I quickly sent it to Piecee, and in two days, he had it coloured, ready, and beautiful. :D

We talked about the day we'd submit it, and...well, here it is.

So you used an electronic art program to do the line art and then sent a copy of the file to Piecee who has either the same program or one that could open whatever format you had the file in?

Pretty much, yeah. I use Adobe Photoshop CS5 and an intuos 4 L graphic tablet, and Piecee uses Paint Tool SAI to color his pictures. Both programs can open .psd files, which we were using.
